Following the success of our March of the Day events, our first event in 2027 will combine football and rugby union while banging the drum against MND. So the MND Sports Tour of London will support both the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation and the Mel Evans MBE Foundation. 

This event takes place in the capital and will start at Wembley Stadium, finish at Twickenham, the home of English rugby union, and visits 42 football and rugby clubs. There’s also two test cricket venues thrown in. The clubs we visit are at all levels of the football an rugby pyramid from the highest levels like Arsenal, Saracens, Chelsea and Harlequins to those at grassroots level including Welling United, Esher, Hornchurch, Ilford Wanderers and Wingate & Finchley. 

A core team of 12 walkers will complete the full route walking in rotation. We are hoping that up to 500 Open Walkers will join us at points throughout the route walking with their friends and family on any of the day time stages. 

We have now set the date as March 25-27, 2027 during the international break weekend.
