We have now staged four major March of the Day Events across the north, in Scotland and in London and the South East. Over the next couple of years, we are looking at staging a number events in locations across the country. We don’t have dates for these as it stands but we will share these as and when plans are more concrete. 

There have been two previous events of this type for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. In 2023, we staged Roads For Rimmer in Liverpool. A year later, Stewart’s Sports Tour took place in Bristol. These two alone raised £120,000 between them. So we will look at different areas of the country to see if we can repeat this success. 

We are aiming to cover locations where traditionally, Stephen and Marcus have had great support.

• Yorkshire where both have links.
• Merseyside with events in Liverpool and on the Wirral where Stephen hails from. 
• Ipswich and Bristol where Marcus has amazing support
• North East where Marcus played and Stephen has great family connections
• Manchester where the Foundation has always had amazing support
