The devastating loss of Liverpool’s Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva saw the football world unite, coming together to mourn the tragic loss of two heroes. The flowers left at Anfield and the reaction of Wolves fans was so moving. Every match now, on 20 minutes, the Liverpool supporters sing Diogo’s song, powerfully remembering this hero. 

The LFC Foundation is establishing a footballing initiative in the name of Diogo and Andre. The Forever 20 Miler is an opportunity for football supporters to support that initiative and remember their heroes one year on from their tragic passing. 

This event is a 20.30 mile team walk that starts and ends at Anfield. Walkers can enter in teams of up to six people, to complete the walk that visits former and current Everton FC stadium and two Liverpool FC training complexes. We expect that a number of former players will join the event. 

The event costs £10 person to enter, which covers the cost of their event t-shirt. T-shirts are available is Liverpool, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Porto and Portugal colours.
