Frequently Asked Questions
There are some questions that we are asked on a consistent basis so we have included this FAQ page.
Q1 – Can I walk the whole route?
A1 – No. It’s nearly 340 miles over 6 days and we have two teams walking this non-stop in short bursts in rotation. Its the only way to keep to a schedule. Open walkers can select any day time stages on all three days but the night time stages will only be walked by the Core Team. You can walk on multiple days though
Q2 – Can I be in the Core Team?
A2 – Sadly no – we have recruited our core team from a specific group, namely those linked to the clubs involved in the planning as well as others impacted by MND. Logistics mean that we had to limit the number of places in that team
Q3 – When will I get my t-shirt?
A3 – We first need to secure all the stage sponsors whose names will go on the back of the t-shirt. then we will place the orders and send them to the lead walkers. This will take some time.
Q4 – When will registration close?
A4 – Probably around the end of April 24, 2026. This will give us time to order the t-shirts and distribute them to all walkers.
Q5 – How will I raise money for the two charities?
A5 – When you register to take part, you will be provided with the information needed. Essentially, you set up a fundraising page from out campaign page. Click here and then click ‘Create your page’
