The Merseyside Sports Tour II follows the same concept as the event in 2022. The event is a 20 mile walk undertaken in teams of up to 6 walkers. This time, instead of heading north from Anfield, the route heads south via the Melwood Training Centre through Gateacre and Childwall to Calderstones Park and on to the cricket ground in Aigburth. From there the rout follows the Mersey up to Everton’s new stadium before arriving back at Anfield.

Teams will set off in 20 second intervals following the route provided. Marshal’s will be in place at all checkpoints and teams will check in by handing over a token provided. 

This is a great opportunity for HSA members and others to work together as a team to complete the 20-mile route together around some of the city’s major landmarks and raise much needed funds for the group to allow treatment for more survivors. 

We will also ask participants to bring donations for the Fans Supporting Foodbanks who will be on position at the start of the event. This is yet another way that we can give back to the community.
