We are talking to all clubs along the route. Welling United FC been very supportive. We are due to arrive at the stadium just after 10am on Saturday March 22, 2025 where we will be welcomed into the stadium. Welling United Supporters Club is one of our stage sponsors so all walkers taking part will wear the club’s name on their back throughout.

We are hoping that some footy legends may be around to meet us. Further information on that as we know it.

Our core team completing the full 178 mile journey includes a number of former footballers including Marcus Stewart, Steph Houghton, Matt Holland, Stuart Barlow, Chris Kirkland, John McGinlay, Simon Haworth, Martin Kelly, Jay Spearing, Filipe Morais and Nathan Clarke.
