We are talking to all clubs along the route. Charlton Athletic FC has been very supportive. We are due to arrive at the stadium just before noon on Saturday March 22, 2025 where we will be welcomed into the stadium.

We are hoping that some Charlton legends may be around to meet us. Former midfielder Matt Holland, is part of the event’s core team. Another legend Steve Gritt will join the walk on the stretch between Dagenham and Hornchurch.

Our core team completing the full 178 mile journey includes a number of former footballers including Marcus Stewart, Steph Houghton, Stuart Barlow, Chris Kirkland, John McGinlay, Simon Haworth, Martin Kelly, Jay Spearing, Filipe Morais and Nathan Clarke. 

The walk is open to football supporters and anyone who wants to support the MND Community. We would love to have teams of Charlton supporters joining our event. You can register using the button below.
