We are talking to all clubs along the route. Braintree Town FC has been very supportive. We are due to arrive at the stadium around 8.30am on Sunday March 23, 2025 where we will be welcomed into the stadium.

We are hoping that some footy legends may be around to meet us. Former England defenders Russell Osman and Terry Butcher have already signed up to walk to the end from Braintree. Further information on that as we know it.

Our core team completing the full 178 mile journey includes a number of former footballers including Marcus Stewart, Steph Houghton, Matt Holland, Stuart Barlow, Chris Kirkland, John McGinlay, Simon Haworth, Martin Kelly, Jay Spearing, Filipe Morais and Nathan Clarke. 

The walk is open to football supporters and anyone who wants to support the MND Community. We would love to have teams of Braintree Town supporters joining our event. You can register using the button below.
